Our Story Continues

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Shonivia with us today –
welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one
of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work
ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

Hi!! As a child I grew up very poor, so as an adult. I was going to make it my business to try and excel in areas of my life that would keep me from going back to that part of my life. It made me want more. It made
me love more and able to go after the things I wanted in life. So during my college years I worked long hours and I sacrificed in order to gain a
skill set while also getting my education.

In addition I would see my mom work long hours while I was in high school and then come home and cook a full course meal but she never complained. To this day I wish I could have an ounce of the strength she
had lol! She was a strong woman! So even though we didn’t have much, over time it got better and that’s because of her hard work. So I said
all that to say I get my work ethic from my mom, my experiences, and my
upbringing.

Life is what you make it so you have to have a good work ethic even if you were born with a silver platter lol in order to keep it you must work.

The bible says faith without works is dead. James 2:17

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

Hello Queens!

I’m from a very small town called Ocilla Georgia. It’s pretty tiny, if you blink you’ll miss it (lol). I graduated from Valdosta State University with my BA, and later obtained two Masters Degrees in Theology. I’m a minister of the gospel which is my love and my sanity
(lol) I’m a mom of two. One I birthed and one I raised. Motherhood is a joy for sure. I’ve been in business 3 years and it has truly been amazing. However, I’ve been in management for Corporate America for over 18 years, whew for almost half my life. So many lessons learned and
wisdom gained.
